Despite high hopes that BRBT’s final performance of the season, Coppélia, would return to the Manship Theatre, the limitations of audience seating capacity makes performing before smaller live audiences financially impossible.  Instead, the Ballet has chosen to put their best foot forward in a filmed studio performance that combines the company members with the Youth Ballet in this classic comic ballet that is fun for all ages.

Coppélia is the story of a toymaker who believes his beloved doll has come to life and the tale continues with lots of mishaps, pranks, and even a little romance.  Audiences will enjoy clever choreography in this performance that casts LeTiger Walker, artist-in-residence and past member of Garth Fagan Dance, as Franz, the lead male role.  With your purchase, a Vimeo link will be sent to directly to you beginning April 12 or within two business days if purchased after that date.
