Providing opportunities for Baton Rouge area dancers to interact with professional dance artists is a vital part of BRBT’s mission. Master classes allow community dancers to learn directly from the unique talents and perspectives of visiting professional guest artists and master teachers. Past master classes have been led by professional artists with AileyII, BalletX, Body Traffic, Complexions Contemporary Ballet, Dance Theatre of Harlem, Houston Ballet II, Martha Graham Dance Company, Philodanco, Ririe-Woodberry, Pilobolus, and more.
More about Pilobolus.

Pilobolus’ appearance in Baton Rouge is presented as a collaboration between the Manship Theatre at Shaw Center for the Arts and Baton Rouge Ballet Theatre and is generously supported by grants from the Irene W. and C. B. Pennington Foundation, the Louisiana Division of the Arts, Office of Cultural Development, Department of Culture, Recreation and Tourism, in cooperation with the Louisiana State Arts Council.
