Welcome Back to the Theatre in 2021-2022!

After a season of restrictions and multiple “pivots” to virtual programming, Baton Rouge Ballet Theatre couldn’t be happier to return to a season of live and on-stage performances.  This season promises to be an even more momentous one now that the dancers can return to their home stage for our spring performance of Rapunzel.  The newly renovated River Center Theatre for the Performing Arts will boast many new upgrades and comforts and the dancers will once again be able to fully stretch their legs in two performances there.  Unfortunately, Theatre renovations have been delayed by issues related to Hurricane Ida, so it will not be ready for The Nutcracker – A Tale from the Bayou.  As a result, our fully staged production will move to the River Center Ballroom and will not need to be rescheduled or cancelled.
