Baton Rouge Ballet Theatre will cast local children, ages 8 to 12,  as lambs, cherubs, mice, cooks, toy soldiers and party children in this treasured holiday production. Adult roles are also available.

Restricted Roles

  • The children’s roles of Clara and BonBon are reserved for eligible members of BRBT Youth Ballet program.

Notes for Parents

  • $10 audition fee per dancer.
  • Mandatory rehearsals with our professional artistic staff are on either Saturday or Sunday from mid-October until the week of the production. Rehearsals are one to two hours long, depending on the role.
  • A small participation fee is charged and costumes are provided.
  • Children must be 8 years of age by December 31 to audition.
  • Girls should wear leotard, tights and ballet shoes, with hair in bun.
  • Arrive 15 minutes early in order to fill out paper work. Parents should be able to provide their child’s height, weight and garment size.
